According to Article 17, paragraph 7 of the Mining Law, if a feasibility study is needed following the detailed exploration period in Group IV (b), (c) and (ç) mineral exploration licenses and an application is made to the General Directorate with a justification and the request is found appropriate, a two-year feasibility period is granted after the detailed exploration period. A feasibility report must be submitted by the end of the two-year period.
